Zoom flash websites

I recently looked at Volkswagen's website (www.volkswagen.co.uk) and it used a flash player throughout. This results in tiny text on a hi-res display, and the usual zoom options don't work in Firefox or IE. I can read the flash display, but it's not comfortable especially as the text uses various shades of grey on white.
After a few searches I found that http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/?noflash works and converts the site to normal HTML, but this is not an shown as an option on the VW webpage. The odd thing is that Firefox seems to remember the setting on subsequent visits that don't include the ?noflash.

I wondered if anyone knows of a generalised way to zoom flash displays in Firefox or IE? I can't find a Firefox add-on that does it.

Any help much appreciated.
