I'm looking at a budget recording device, mainly for staff interviews and so on at work.
The cost needs to be low to ensure I get the kit quickly, rather than have it drag through our capital expenditure programme, so I'm really looking at as far under £200 as possible. We currently have Cisco Flip HD cameras and the audio is horrific, loads of background hiss and really low volume.
The video quality needs to be passable, but not perfect - the clips are going to be watched at 360/480 YouTube style resolution, but sound is important as most of the critical content will be the messages delivered by the interview candidates.
The best I can find in the price range is the Zoom Q2HD at what seems like a very reasonable £79, does anyone have any other suggestions?
