Zotac 1070

zotac gtx 260 was one of my first zotacs

ever since then theyre been epic for me and my brother

the FE comes with the very cool solid cooler and a preinstalled backplate the cooler is a work of art imo, it wil run hotter and slighly louder but would be better suited in cases with lack of airflow as its a blower design pushing the air out the back

also zotac now have 5 year warranty making them the only company to include 5 years warranty

must be registered within 14 days on zotacs website though
 
Definetly go for the Zotac over the FE. There's zero reason to buy one of those unless you're using SLI (or perhaps an incredibly-small ITX case).
 
I can't make my mind up on waiting till around the 30th June for the zotac or get the evga founders edition now. The boost clock is much faster on the zotac. Will the founders card be as fast as the zotac? And will the founders evga over clock the same? Thanks

My EVGA GTX 1070 Founders Edition clocks to 2050 core 9400 mem on stock volts :)

I'd wait. I bet they both have the same oc abilities but the Zotac has some nice features like 0db mode(fanless).

Yep has a backplate. Nice and quiet, not as much as the twin fan 10cm AIB coolers but it exhausts out the back rather than dumping in the case which is helping my CPU temps too as I have a microATX case :) very pleased with it overall!
 
Let us know how it is please. This card fits in my budget compared to the MSI and EVGA's so would be handy to know.

Don't know if i like the USA location though in case i need to RMA etc.
 
I'm not so sure the RMA is USA.
Early reports suggest that it was the USA but more recently it would seem that it is handled in the UK.
