Hi in MSI Afterburner it shows Base Clock 1350MHZ but Boost clock 7199MHZ is that right?. Thanks.

The boost clock shows 1800mhz in the display with the red triangle but the numbers in the round dial shows 7199mhz on the bottom. Is that right as it seems high.

7.2Ghz?

Golden chip right there.

Nah, it's wrong.

Standard boost clocks should be around 1900+/- to 2000Mhz +/-.

You sure the 7199 isn’t referring to the VRAM? In effect 14Ghz which is stock? I add +1000 to my VRAM and run it at 16Ghz.

If you look at the specs of the amp extreme it says 14400mhz memory clock so the 7200mhz you are seeing will be that due to ddr (14400mhz effective).

Boost clock will always be higher due to gpu boost. Bit of an overclock should see you at around 2-2.1ghz with around 16000mhz memory speed.

Memory seems to give better yields to performance and most cards do +1000mhz or so.
