Hi,

I'm just about to order the card below. Is it worth spending the extra £20 for the OC version? 45Mhz difference in the boost clock, do you get anything else?

i would say oc is never worth it cause gpu normally boost as high as then can anyway and that 45mhz will make almost no difference

You wont get anything else - all cards boost way past their advertised boost clocks anyway. Any resultant FPS gain from the slightly better card you'd never notice when playing.

I'd stick with the Zotac as £30 or even £50 for extra 3 years warranty is a no brainer when spending this much.

Wouldn't get that B grade either. £600 on something with 90 days warranty? Hell no.

The 90 day Bgrade applies to OCUK only, you should still be able to register with zotac for the full 5 years.

I looked at a few 4080s last night and thought the Inno3D was a bit different with no vapour chamber. RAM was cooler as a result but a bit die was a bit hotter due to slower fans. Gigabyte gaming OC was good all round but with slight tweaks they all end up fairly similar. So I should receive an FE version tomorrow as it was the cheapest and in stock.

I didn't like the Palit or Zotac by looks myself so didn't consider them.

If OCUK only gives 3 months warranty then you can't do the registration.
You just register it directly with zotac and go through them for the warranty if needed.

Fantastic company Zotac imo, I bought a B grade 1080ti amp extreme and decided to register it, the receipt clearly stated B grade, no issues, warranty given.

Thus far, not had to use it (the warranty:p)

I got full warranty with EVGA for the b grade GPU I had. Just depends if you need to prove it with an invoice and they accept it as a b grade.
