I have a Zotac GeForce 9300-ITXmotherboard inside an Aplus CUPID-3 case and the processor is getting really hot when I play HD movies or stream from the web.If I take off the cover and move the power supply out of the way the thing runs fine. It seems that the PSU is sucking air away from the stock Intel cooler which is trying to blow air down onto the heatsink.
Is anyone else running this combination ? Any suggestions ?

Failing that can anyone recommend a different case that will allow the thing to run nice and cool. I am using this as a HTPC / Media PC running through a 37" Sharp TV. Perhaps a case that is as high as the Aplus but wider would do ?
A nice sexy black annodised case would be nice

Thanks in advance

I might be missing the point here, but what processor are you usign and what cooler are you using it with?
I built a SFF system using that case and have absolutely no heating issues with it, whats your config?

Hi

Sorry, Christmas got in the way....!!!!

I'm using my old Q9450 and the stock Intel Cooler. I may try a Alpenföhn Panorama Cooler and use a dual core E6700.

The strange thing is, the temps go crazy when streaming movies from the web not when I download and use a media player

Flash video players are generally more CPU intensive than the other things you described :)

If you get another case the SG-05 is pretty good, fairly cheap too and comes with a 300W PSU. However I would just try the Panorama cooler with the fan flipped so it's blowing the same way as the PSU.
