Using the card as a temperary vga solution before a completely new build which is some time off, its been in the case for about 2 weeks without any hiccups till the other day where the vga would stall (could use the pointer but could not alt-tab or anything out of 3d app)

Idle temperatures is around 25C
Load temperatures (during applications/games) is up to 35C I would assume after several hours this is closer to 40 but I take frequent breaks

The case/components are dust/dirt free

Its all running at factory/stock settings (nothing overclocked)

Just wondering if anybody else has had this sort of problem or wether I should not rule out the possibility of a problem with the card as I know air cooling is not that fantastic but surely I should not be experiancing an overheated vga issue (i would expect it if I tryed to overlock everything)

Can provide additional information if neccesary will bookmark and check thread later

25C (77F) - 35C (95F) is what the ncp says - it could be wrong.. but when I pop into the boards health status feature it shows other components running at simular temperatures as well

if I adjust the fan setting higher (100% or further) it does drop more, but it gets noisey

The case is mostly cold, only exeption is the side panel which has the plastic fibre transparent bit so you can see inside it, from previous build if the VGA was running warmer (i.e. 50C+) or any other components its pretty easy to notice

Most of the warm air gets sucked out, as mentioned before the inside of the case is spotless, so you could assume with a couple months typical use it would proberbly end up a bit higher than the numbers posted up otherwise

if theres anything I can post up from the nvidia control panel (i.e. the gpu tweak bit which shows clock/bus/fan speeds) i can try getting that done
