Zotac GeForce 9300-ITX

Whats your budget on this, the board will support right up to extreme quad core processors and 4GB 8500C5 memory. RAID etc.

Let me know what your budget is and I may try the board out as we are planning on building a full system based around this motherboard.

This board does look amazing. I have some old parts arround (8800 ultra, e6300 etc..) that i could use to make a kick ass lan rig. Just need to find a nice itx case that it will all fit in :P

Yewen, can you try the board in the desktop profile cases you have in stock like the Antec Micro Fusion, along with low-profile coolers? I'm interested in this board for a HTPC replacement that will support Blu-Ray.

A review

The four phase power for the CPU socket is pretty limiting and don't expect some liberal voltage adjustments and overclocking either - like most mini-ITX boards. However, the capacitors used are decent Nippon Chemicon solid aluminium capped, the MOSFETs are Power-PAK low profile and the chokes are environmentally sealed - all good. If you've got a particularly large heatsink, you might want to check the space between memory, northbridge and CPU socket because both sit literally just outside the CPU area which makes push-pin heatsinks in particular quite difficult to fit.

Looks like overclocking is limited even though it supports it.

I cant seem to find a small itx case that would take this board and a powerful enough PSU to run a 8800.

EDIT: Found one

Yeah that is true, i could prob fit my 8800gso in there. Prob would be better to sell the ultra and get a 4850 as i dont think i will find a psu that will power it

I am building a HTPC based on this motherboard, details are here. Looks like a cracking little board, just waiting for it to be delivered so I can get on with the build. I'll post some pics when it is complete.

I'm gutted that it has appeared on OCUK, would have saved me the postage costs from pre-ordering it elsewhere. :D

I am seriously considering buying another one when the SG05 is available; would make an absolutely brilliant little LAN rig.

Board is really designed for the onboard graphics to power the monitor and the PCIE for a raid card or the like.

Not adverse to having a play around, want to see what kind of scores it gets with a 295 ideally and take it from there. :)

Will have a go when I get chance, may be next Saturday and I will provide a good set of benchmarks as I am considering one of these to replace my Rampage Extreme.
