Just playing with a Zotac H55 and for some reason I can't the BIOS to treat the SATA drives as Raid.

Am I being supremely thick or is there something I've missed - there just simply isn't the option to set them to Raid, just IDE or AHCI...

I'm pretty sure it wont say it in the manual in referance to an H55 board, as people have already said, H55 does not support raid, and I doubt Zotac are going to make the mistake of putting it in the manual of one of their motherboards if it isn't true (then again, I've seen some 'English' motherboard manuals which are barely legible in the past, some of the old Abit translations were ...interesting to say the least). However, they might be using the same manual to cover various boards, and one or more of them might well support raid, maybe this is the case and you got confused.

shucks - Zotac H55 = fail
I think you just assumed it would support it actuallty, or someone else told you it did and you didn't bother to actually check first. So I don't think it's the board that fails.

The manual states

IDE Configuration
The items in this menu allow you to set or change the configurations for the IDE
devices installed in the system. Press <enter>to display the configuration options:
q Configure SATA as
This item allows you to set the SATA to IDE/RAID/AHCI mode.

It is one line, there isn't the whole RAID section one would expect from a RAID capable motherboard, I think someone somewhere copy/pasted the section from another manual, without checking all the letters.
