This is my second Zotac itx board now and both fail to send a signal through the dvi port to my tv/monitor. HDMI works, but i've only got one hdmi port on my tv and use that for the 360. Is there any setting that need changing to get the board to use the dvi port instead of the hdmi.

Strangely when both dvi and hdmi are plugged in the computer uses the dvi port as primary, but still doesn't post anything on my tv, switching to hdmi then show's the second screen but with no icons, etc i can't do anything with it.

It's running the latest drivers from the zotac website. If this is only a driver problem then zotac should not have been selling these without a driver to enable the dvi port to work.

Mine ran through the DVI port straight out of the box, it's a DVI to HDMI cable, but that shouldn't make a difference.
You sure your telly isn't playing up?

If its an LG TV you might have to reconfigure your DVI port to accept PC transmission rather than DTV type transmissions. I had to do the reverse to get sound to work when a virgin media v+ box was added to my home. Couldn't figure out what was wrong, turned out to be the configuraton of the port within the TV settings.

This with mine also ^^^, it definatly doesnt sound ddriver related as when its booting etc it doesnt use a driver i would defiantly check your cable and TV before you RMA it as you may get stuck with a no fault found fee.

I've now built up a DFI Lan party board in a SG01 case, the DVI cable is working perfectly with that.

To answer the other question i get no signal/picture at all, not even the board start up screen/bios etc.

I've given up with these zotac itx boards. Going to have to Sell my SG05 now, shame really as its a really nice case
