Heya, just wanted to check to see if there were any problems with a NUC build i was going to recommend to my father.
His current pc is slowing down and its quite a big case. So a NUC i think is perfect for his needs. His requirements are office/web/email/HD videos/music. No gaming at all. He'll re use his monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers.
ZOTAC ZBOX CI520 nano barebone looks like a great candidate as it has 4 usb3 ports and 2 usb2 ports at the front (more so than other NUCs) The plus version of this comes with 4gb and a 64GB SSD, but his current pc uses ~170gb, hence the barebone version.
This one has an i3 which is great for office work,as the i5 version is probably overkill, and the Celeron version is best for Home cinema use.
Samsung evo 240gb SSD should suffice his needs and be a lot faster than his current HDD.
4gb of some generic SODIMM 1 x 204-pin memory. Any recommendations please?
No OS as he is happy with windows 7 and i can clone it onto the new ssd.
Look ok? Or have i missed something?
Cheers for any replies.
