Zowie EC problems (jittery?)

Hello,

Having some problems with my EC2 I bought about 4 months ago. I started noticing the mouse being extremely jittery when moving it in a line slowly. Instinctively I blew into the sensor and it seemed to fix the issue, but the issue returns constantly (finding myself blowing into the sensor 3-4 times per hour), which is getting frustrating. Also starting to notice it being slightly jittery at all times, unsure if this is just me being paranoid...

However, I also had a look into the sensor and it seems like there is a bit of dust in there, but I am unable to rub or clean it off, seems like it is under the sensor. There isnt' really a way to take the bottom off, so I think I am a bit screwed with regards to cleaning it out. Anyone have any ideas on how I'm meant to get it out? And if it is this blob of crap under the sensor, why is it clearing temporarily when I blow under it?

All help super welcome, thanks :d

Thanks for replying!

I was under the impression since I bought the mouse around 4 months ago (June 6th I believe), I was **** out of luck when it came to RMA. I also checked the overclockers website and there was no information on Zowie RMA so unsure who to contact.

The mousepad I'm using is a, I forget the name, but the XXL one that fits across your entire desk, fabric. I've always kept it perfectly clean though, and also tested on a metal mousepad to the same effect.
