Zowie mice + Boogie Bug

Anyone using an EC1/2 or AM with this mousepad?

I've just bought an AM and it skips on my boogie bug particularly on long fast swipes but on my everglade titan it doesn't skip even though both mats are pretty similar. It will be getting returned anyway as it has a problem with the scroll but I don't know whether to pick up another Zowie as I actually quite like the tracking or whether it has a problem with this mouse mat.

I use the original EC1 and have had no trouble at all. Love the mouse though, feels like an Intelli 3.0 wish was my favourite mouse of all time, but unfortunately they're hard to come across now!

Was thinking of picking up the EC1 eVo though but I can wait until this one naffs up!

Just a little update on this, I now have a EC2 eVo and it does the exact same thing. After doing a bit of googling I've found other people having the same problems. The sensors on the Zowie mice seem incapable of consistently tracking very fast movements - i.e I can't do a 180 in CS:GO. The only people who seem to have a problem are those who use a low sens and require very fast swipes to do 180's.
