ZR24W vs U2311h

I've the option of these two monitors. The HP is second hand, 4months old for £250. The Dell is new for £240.

I quite like the idea of the low power consumption on the Dell but the extra 120 vertical px would be nice with the HP too.

Anybody have an opinion on this?

Gaming/Photo work would be the use.

I heard bad things about the HP one so I'd go for the Dell. It's really good price and I don't think an inch is really worth it.

You shouldn't compare a 24in HP to a 23in Dell, compare 24in HP to the 24in Dell, there's a reason why the Dell is so much more expensive.

I think these two monitors are quite comparable. They are nearer in price than the 24" DELL/HP and both are none wide gamut.

The DELL being better looking is another factor.

I will be reviewing the Dell U2211H next month and have used the ZR24w so can compare. Although maybe you can't wait until then

I'm ordering the zr24w or my next build. I'll tell you how it goes.
