Is it possible to get a Zune to work with windows media player? I'm guessing Microsoft isn't allowed to make them work together due to regulations etc. Is there a way round this?

Not yet - and I doubt it's because of regulations. MS could easily make a PlayforSure player. Their Zune software has a built in Zune Music Store though, which is more likely the reason.
Some have managed to get WMP to detect the Zune, but not to copy anything yet. That was months ago, and I haven't heard any progress since. I'd much rather use WMP with it than the Zune software.
