People in China etc have different tastes. We learned this with a certain mustard/blue HIS-branded AMD card.

There are pictures of the GPU without the sticker and it seems to have an indentation where the sticker fits. The sticker may be optional.
Personally I like the design, I like a quirk. They may corner the market for quirkists.

I bought one, but only because I was planning on putting it under water anyway so paying extra for a better cooler seemed a bit pointless. As I mentioned in the other thread specific to the card, despite the horrific sticker I was actually quite surprised at the performance of the cooler even though it's the crappest one of the lot.
Got it under water now anyway so no more nasty sticker

Actually I forgot about that - my first serious 3d card was a Matrox Mystique (before I came to my senses and got a 3dfx) and it had a clown on the box too!
