So if watercooling is a backplate a good addition? what would be the benefit of a backplate?

Quite tempted to go for a watercooled Titan X as they seem quite hot but never watercooled before.

The aquacomputer ones will be active cooled which given the high mem temps could prove beneficial. I don't see the point in passive backplates when watercooling.

I can only talk about the original Titan and with the 3 I had, I could get the memory clocked much higher on the one that didn't have a back plate...Coincidence/luck I don't know but I won't be putting backplates on mine this time.

Which is why I'm waiting for active cooled ones from aqua!
