Happy to see that a Classy appears it would fit, at the same length as my 780. I think if I'm getting one, it's gonna be one of those, or a Gigabyte G1.

It's just, do I think the 70-80% extra performance is worth the cost?

I'm on a 780 gaming at 1080p and I've started encountering more and more games that are starting to require being cranked down to run at a smooth 60fps.

So in my eyes, yes.

Honestly, it might not even get installed till the end of the week, I'm pulling 12-15 hour days right now on a big project. Timing couldnt have been worse.

Well according to customer service last week...I was 20th in the queue

what a terrible experience with this launch, i am still waiting for my evga reference 980 ti not happy at all

apparently i am 2nd in queue so fingers crossed this wait wont last any longer then it has.

got my eye on the evga water cooled one, not budging till i see what amd come out with but then again im wondering if there will be anything new from nvidia/amd when the VR kits hit the shops because thats what this gfx upgrade is for.... think im gonna wait till after xmas. if theres nothing new on the horizon im pretty sure ill get a cpl of 980ti's at a fair price

cant see there been a big jump in performance with pascal, not in the first series anyway. gonna need these for the rift cv1. im hoping nvidea release pascal around the same time, pretty sure they'll make a killing if they do.
