Just spent most of today play Shadow of Mordor. VRAM usage well over 8GB at times!

This is why I chose the Titan X over a 980ti...

You want 4k with ultra settings and all the textures you can get your hands on? You'll blow through 6GB easy...

It'll only happen even more in future games I'm guessing as well...

Doubt it with a single graphics card.

Might start to see bottlenecking if you added a second though.

I remember when Diamond released a graphics card with a mahoosive 6Mb(!) of ram when 4MB was the norm and peeps said it'd never need it!

Also for those asking, an EVGA rep confirmed in their thread that the only difference between the 980/980Ti and TX AIOs is just the name on the shroud, they are all interchangeable.

Which one have you ordered?

I just ordered the EVGA Hybrid for the TX, why have you gone for the 980 version.

Cutting it fine on the mentioning of 'competitors'!, not sure undertimers will be thrilled

. Also a note on that websites ETA dates - they are utter BS and very very very rarely actually bare any truth whatsoever. I'm fairly certain they use the date that the supplier has said they (the supplier) will receive stock and not the date the supplier will actually deliver the stock to (the website) them.

Hope you get it when they say you will though, nothing worse than waiting for a part to arrive!!

I got suspended for saying how long I'd had my BX 100 and how much it cost, safe to say I don't post much on here now, or check the daily deals. Didn't even say where it came from just the price it was 3 months ago.

Oh well won't be the first time I've been suspended or the last, I'm not to worried, I spend a lot of money with these guys, but unfortunately they don't stock this particular item so I have to go elsewhere, and I haven't actually mentioned any competitor in my posts, there's many words relating to Copy.

They did that to me too many times. Because of that I order all my pc stuff elsewhere now.
