Asus has issues with their latest Intel boards
Sorry to hijack, what are these problems.
Get a Gigabyte UD3 as it is a good board and is quite cheap for the features. If you want something with more features look in to Asrock and MSI. Dont go with Asus as if there is a a problem their RMA service is not the best.
When running my cpu at 1.2v i dont get a single bit of v droop, when i raised the v core to 1.475 i only had 0.003 v droop which is excellent . ( Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3)Have you noticed any issues with voltages?

oh thats why.Just a x2 550, even as a quad core i don't have a v droop problem.
