I moved a lot of my home stuff to 10" racks a couple of years back or so, much more convenient use of space for most of it.

You can actually get switches, etc. for these contrary to the video, but they are pretty hard to find and usually just a case of brackets you can fit and/or an available front plate you can adapt the equipment with, etc.

Something I plan on doing in the longer run for my setup is DIY building a UPS in a 10" rack mountable chassis. I'm currently running an Eaton 3S Mini after significantly moding it but it isn't ideal.

I love a 10" rack, they look so clean. Less cables means less mess.
