I'd expect it to be available for near the £1000 mark once the usual discounts off RRP happen, or at least within a few months after.

Still better value than taking the Korean panel gamble.

Hardly, you could get 6 of them for around £1000. I've got 4, and they're very good.

just received the UP3214Q for review. what a MASSIVE screen and resolution, even coming from a 27" 2560 x 1440 res! not sure how long it will take to get used to all this space

Not at 60Hz you can't. ;) And 50" is far too large for a screen to be used as a monitor. Just ask Baddass how he'd feel about that as he stares at this 31.5" behemoth.

um yes, even 31.5" is probably too big for most people. It's a monster!

ehehe, you know that fonts can scale right

Yes I'm perfectly aware fonts can scale. I've been working in the publishing industry for 18 years +

it is small, but actually not too bad once you've used it for a bit. you can always change DPI and text size if needed

Yes that is always an option I guess, would be interesting to see one in the flesh.

I still think 1440p is the sweet spot.

:)

please santa, for this christmas i would like, pretty please.

on a serious note will you have one of these on display in the shop as i think its about time i changed from my dell 3007 wfp hc, that i currently have been using for the last 6 years, i actually paid £1200 for this back then, so i dont think that this new 4k version is that expensive, would be nice to see one running if possible

I must have had one of my 2407FPW since 2006, the oldest part of my collection of PC bits by far, still use them every day (I have 3).

When you look at something like this it a huge initial payout but you'll have it for years.
