What makes this card so awesome!?

£400 vs £300 for a Vanilla card?

Not the price it's at now , but a very impressive 3072MB 6600MHz GDDR5 default memory clocks (316.8GB/s memory bandwidth). According to a Crytek CryEngine engineer-Crysis 3's Sandbox 3 SDK is using 2.5 gigs of video memory for the Crysis 3 assets, handy having that extra memory on the matrix 7970. Great cooler from asus.

I read a lot of reviews people not beign happy with the Matrix, sure its pre oc is nice but a lot of people cant get any higher!

I can get the same clocks on my Direct CU 2 on stock volts, the only good thing about it is it will probly hold its value more since its a special card.
