I noticed a girl controlling the speed and program of the treadmill she was using via her Apple Watch the other week.
Of course I could have done the sensible thing and asked her how she does it.. but I didn’t want to bother her so I’ve been racking my brains trying to figure it out.
They are precor treadmills, nothing fancy just the normal set program and speed with zx speccy type keyboard. They must have some sort of RF comms on them as if the person next to me is wearing a HRM it picks it up.
I can’t see any NFC marks on the machine itself… nothing on the precor iOS app gives any indication that theirs an Apple app..
I’ll try to add more info, if I get it but does anyone else have this setup at their gym?
