I think a good clean will get your temps down by quite a bit.

I wouldn't replace the stock cooler unless it's particularly noisy.

Also check that your power supply fan is working.

before i consider buying the arctic 7 cooler, i would like to see how much difference a good clean would impact upon the performance of the cpu.

i have the paste, isopropyl alcohol & cotton buds (is kitchen roll ok too?).

one problem:
should i remove the mobo to re-affix the stock intel cooler?
there is no back plate access to work with the stock cooler stand clips.

Been through all this several years ago, the stock cooler is useless. I bought a refurbed H100 for 40 notes and i've never looked back.
