Advice needed please!
I am thinking about getting the Corsair Domintor Platinum 4 x 16Gb PC4-24000 3000Mhz kit as listed on OC here - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...dual-quad-channel-kit-black-cm-my-470-cs.html

Are there any other high end kits I should consider or is the Dom Plat still the go to?

Now that I like! Especially as I am considering the Godlike Carbon mobo! Are they decent performers?

EDIT: These seem to be built to perform best with Z170 though...

Because all pumps are from Laing, EK only rebrand them.

Except Aquacomputer pumps, they actually do custom work on the controller PCB to make their PWM D5 works universally.

I just thought the lol comment was a needless snark....

best for z170, so it would be worst than other ram on X99. Is that what you mean?

I mean that they are developed for Z170 so there are others that would perform better no doubt?

I am still deciding between Dom Plat, Kingston and gSkill... Not sure yet...

nah it's just marketing gimmick. All ram, at the same speed and cas latency should give equal performance.
The differences come in overclocking ability, the ability to run high mhz, the ability to run at low cas, stuffs like that. Even cheap basic no heatsink corsair ram @ 3000Mhz 16-16-16-35 should give equal performance compared to a much more higher class Corsair Dom @3000Mhz 16-16-16-35.

I thought there were differences with the actual IC's used?

Cool. What colour scheme? ...or is it a surprise?
Have you gone for plastic style sleeving (Teleios/MDPC-X) or paracord?

I went paracord in purple, yellow and black, hoping it will look awesome! I considered plastic but wasn't convinced that it wouldn't be shiny or reflective, but I am not that knowledgeable about custom sleeving!

This is by no means what the end result will look like as I am customizing the case a little before I'm done!

Those of you with keen eyes will spot the M2 already installed on the board, i love that thing! The Bitspower pieces are just there to add idea of look/scheme...
