You are a bit late, the rainforest place had the Logitech Z906 5.1 with 50% off at £160 on Lightning deal (though they were sold out during the early access for Prime members...)

They sold out less than 10 mins into the Prime early access period, I was one of the lucky ones

I'd love to get one at that price, but don't really see the need as I have more or less graduated from desktop speakers and have moved onto to hifi speakers.

Have to be sensible and hold myself back from going backward

I totally get that, if I was using the speakers primarily for music I'd do the same. My primary want is for decent 5.1 sound in games hence the Z906's.
