Probably an overthunk and basic Q..
I'm going to pop a 2nd M.2 drive into my Auros Pro B650.
I've already got an m.2 boot drive in the top CPU slot (pcie5) above the GPU and it has its own heatsink.
To access the lower m.2 lanes I have to remove the big shroud that covers the bottom few pcie/m.2 slots.
My question was does anyone know if that shroud also acts as a heatsink?
Should I buy an m.2 drive that has a heatsink or without? Will a heatsinked ssd fit under the shroud?
Ordinarily I'd pop out the GPU and move the WC routing and take off the shroud, but I have my arm in a sling after shoulder surgery. If I can save the faff of doing that one armed more than I have to it'd help!
