Moving from windows 11 is Linux a keyboard and mouse o/s or just a kb o/s

Is it better to learn to navigate with or without the use of a mouse?

Mouse and keyboard is fine. Worth learning some terminal commands as you go but nothing stopping you from using it as you would.

I've recently started using Linux Mint as I was doing my CompTIA A+ course/exam which involves learning linux CLI commands. It's quite user friendly and is set out to be familiar for windows users. It's GUI based.

If you want to try it out on your windows machine first (like I initially did, before installing it for real) then download and install VirtualBox (free Virtual Machine type 2 hypervisor) @ https://www.virtualbox.org/

and the Linux Mint iso @ https://linuxmint.com/download.php (CInnamon edition) and create a virtual machine. You can have a good play with it then and see what you think.
