Well today was the day! Congratulations to those who guessed a macca :D

This car went on sale for less than a day before I purchased it. Immaculate condition, driven lovingly by an owner who has never tracked it, or really put any miles on it at all to be frank.

Last night got the message that the car was ready to go and loaded onto the trailer.

Just past lunchtime he rocked on up.

570S spyder.
Sicilian yellow paintwork.
16k miles.
£400 a year to insure.
£180 a year to tax.

Anyway, onto some initial goodness :D

Awesome, good choice! What did they do in the end with corrosion / inspection / warranty.

As soon as my house is completed I am getting back on the McHunt, I need one

Looks great, cant recall ever seeing a yellow Mc

Does @Gibbo like it, has he given it the thumbs up :D

I knew it would be a Macca his face said it all on the couple we took for test drives, but I pushed him to try a Spider as I won’t hide it McLarens sound too quiet and as such the coupes are a bit meh.

Once he drove a Spider and tried the window or roof down I think it was a done deal for Jon.

Hope the car treats you well buddy. At current prices they are a bargain.

All corrosion was sorted with LLoyds who are McLaren certified. The inspection was a full pre-purchase/pre-warranty one and gave the car a clean bill of health, to quote the guy who went over it, "its like new".

Warranty via 3rd party, but may be able to swap to official one now its had the full inspection.

Get it swapped!

Guy I know at McLaren said it was a good one.

My extended McLaren warranty just paid for damper and bushes so it’s great the third party ones cover sod all.

Didn't realise the prices of these, what a car for the ££

Maybe once the mortgage is paid off in a few years I'll consider a move from the R8 to something like this.
