I'm back baby!
Sheftalia - thats the puppy :D

I liked Humous before (though the stuff made in the kitchen by Le Petite (tineee) masterchef rocks all over the stuff back here) but I like Tzatziki too now.

Still can't believe the greens I was eating :p and I want to eat Lebanese again.

Hehehe she wouldn't have any of it - you had no choice :p

I'll pass on the compliments to the chef!! :) Tzatziki does rock big time. I think you actually enjoyed the aubergine dip too - called Moutabal or Baba Ganoush in arabic, but melitzanosalata in greek.

Next time you're in London, I know a fantastic Lebanese we can go to.

I have never understood people who say ..I liked it till I found out how its made

I live off the philosophy that if it tastes ok...eat it
if it tastes bad...dont eat it

couldnt care less whats in it..one day you might find yourself in a situation where you may have to eat some stuff you dont really like the look of..so why worry about

all I know is I will never go hungry as I will eat anything..same as I'm never short of a drink..there no such thing as a bad drink..theres just some are better than others

eat stuff you like, dont eat stuff that tastes like crap...dont worry about how its made..if you did that you would never eat anything

Silkworm-poo specifically I think - do they not make sortof spiderweb type things with it?

Fois Gras, iirc, is where you take a goose and shove so much grain down its throat (literally until its almost overflowing) that the liver ruptures and haemmorages?

BTW this isnt a PETA-style ginger veggie-rant - I eat loads of meat, am just saying these things out of interest :)

The meat in the centre of the spinning stick which the meat is cooking on.....howlong do u htinks its there for?
If it's a good shop that specialises in Kebabs only then less than a day, will go up in the morning and be cooked/served thoughout the day, anything remaining will be binned.

If it's a nasty little place that tries to sell everything under the sun (fish, chips, pizza, burgers, etc etc) then you really don't wanna know. :p
