Hi guys,

anyone training in a timber shed/summer house? I'm looking at getting a 16ft x 8ft (possibly 9ft) structure built to move my gym equipment from a relatives garage to my garden (Trap bar, half power rack and dumbbell rack).

Wouldn't mind getting a full power rack if there's enough clearance height wise (allow me to do pull downs etc).

We have an 8ft square concrete foundation with the current shed on which I would get extended (removing the old shed).

My concern is will the windows/shed be solid enough to deadlift 200KG-250KG (would have stable mats down as well)?

What's the base of your shed?

Currently using 200-210kg for working sets on deadlifts.

I've seem some where the timber frame is built directly onto the concrete base then using stable mats on top.

Don't want to cause the timber frame to shake when doing deadlifts.
