Dell is either subsidising the monitor because who knows why, maybe they ordered too much stock, or Dell just has far lower distribution costs to the UK than other brands

Ordered the Alienware and got it next day despite it saying delivery in May. Unfort. it didn't come w/ a protective screen so it has the micro scratches/marks that you can see if a light is shined on it. Don't notice it in regular use. Why Dell packages the monitor like that is beyond me!

Stock goes out in a few days sometimes, you just need to be vigilant. I have been waiting for this monitor since the day I heard it existed with its pixel sound and matte coating.

Also, one retailer has it down for early June and some EU stores too. Seems about right, we always get a delay with new LG stuff. I'm interested in the 39" but it's going to be silly money as always on launch.
