This doesn't sound good or correct. Do I need to change a setting in the bios to tell the system it's a pump, not a fan?

Doesn't happen every boot but usually starts about a minute after powering up.
AIO is brand new, literally put the system together tonight. Lots of hits for this noise on YouTube so suspect a bad pump. Not a great start...

So just been over to deepcool sub reddit and it's plagued with others having this issue. Urgh.

Anyways. It powers up quiet at the correct rpm but then something is making the RPM drop to 2500 which is when the noise starts. Suspect the noise is the pump choking/stalling. It's correctly set at 12v Dc 100% flat line speed curve.

May be easier to just RMA it back since it's new and a documented problem, why waste the time fighting with it?
Yeah that's the plan. Local shop so gonna phone them in the morning. Hoping there's no arguments as I'm happy to just buy an alternative product from them. Just maybe not Deepcool. Might go back to nzxt.
