Dxomark really rate the style camera so would be nice to see how they rate the play in comparison, would be good to see a good camera is a £270 handset. I guess it's a waiting game for reviews

Most reviews say its the 615 holding the camera back. 808 gives the Style the big advantage in the camera department.

Ordered.

White+Orange with dark metallic accent.

Good choice, ive been playing around with the colours. Mars Red + Metallic Lemon gives it an ironman look. I also like Royal blue + Metallic Red

Since you're upgrading from that ancient phone you will most likely need a new sim (nano sim).

Anyone after a large SD card for these have a look on Rainforest.
Sandisk 128GB SD currently under £40. Seems a good price.

That'll be the Motorola building in China in which case it takes a few days going on when I got my 2014 Moto X. Guess it'll be probably next week.

Ah right, just in time for release.

Looks good. Even though its bigger, the texture and curved back should give it a nice feel in the hand. Should be much nicer to hold than other large phones.

Got my style and loving it but it does get quite warm. Now need to try and find a new clear bumper as I threw mine away thinking it was part of the packaging :( Software set up not quite as good as Samsung S5 as for instance you can't remove the camera off the lock screen without an app. Went for the red leather back and black front.

The software on this is near stock. Wait, how did you get yours already?

ordered my Moto X play, about time I changed my phone..

it was a toss up between this and the wileyfox storm, what swayed me to by a moto x , was the fact its "Motorola" so been around a hell of a lot longer, impressive battery life (3600 mAh) and fast charge !

Looking at the reviews & they say the Play does support fast charging but doesnt include the fast charger?

I've only had my moto x play for a day or two

one thing I've noticed, which I don't know if its supposed to be doing it or not..

phone is switched on, and when it goes to standby mode/sleep or what ever you want to call it, after a minute, when you come out of stand by, I get an exclamation mark over the signal bars, what does this mean?

I only see that when I switch mobile data off. Must be something to do with the data connection.
