Moving Exchange 2003 to New hardware

Has anyone done but also use RPC over HTTPs? We are having problems with external users. Internal users are fine it goes to the old exchange server and that points them to the new exchange server.

But on RPC it doesnt seem to do that bit? Is there any addional routing we need to setup?

So you've got the old exchange box still up which "redirects" users to the new box, this works internally but not externally over RPC?

Yeah some of the mail boxes are still on the old exchange server (all of the remote users) then any internal users are sitting on the new exchanage server.

That works all working fine - After the move it goes to the old exchange server then that updates the mail profile to say his/her mailbox is on the new exchange server.

These exchange servers are setup as backend servers - If possible we don't want to install a front end server just while we move everyone across.

Got it working with 2 exchange backend servers - Will post reg fix tomorrow; its bit of messing about but its all working now
