I was hoping someone with a lot better knowledge than me can assist and point me in the right direction as its a bit of a minefield.

My current computer is really playing up, something to do with the CPU fan and the bios so it can take 2 hours sometime from turning it on for it to work so its time to get a new one.

I currently have a GTX 1060 6GB and 16GB Ram. The games i play arent that intensive, things like apex legends etc nut would be nice to have something that can run some more modern games if needed.

I'm just looking for something that would be a nice step up without being too expensive and unnecessary but the choice is huge and i don't really know that well, exactly what i should be looking at.

Can anyone offer some advice?
