Myself, Nathwraith and RJK are working on something a little special for our system range, it's going to be epic that's all I am saying at this moment in time.

Check back for updates about the Mammoth new system project.

The case that we are using for the build is one of these;

The Internals of the case look like this from the factory, however the aren't going to remain this way for long :D

The First Job on the very long list of things is to strip the case of all the things that we need out of the way for all the watercooling that we are going to fit into the case.

Here is a picture of the case after it has been gutted

Once we had done this we can get a real feel for the space that we have to work with and what we can fit in.

So we firstly fitted the double 140MM radiator in the roof of the case which is a perfect fit.

Next we started to look at mounting the 360's in the front, for this we are using the EK Rad mounts which are very versatile.

Now that we have these in place we started to mount the first rad and secure this top and bottom.

Then all we did was repeat this method for the second rad that would will be mounted behind the first.

And now some more pics now that the rads are all in.

Its not made by Silverstone as nice as the TJ11 is, we wanted to use something that hasn't been done before, or at least very few!

Check the op for update

You are correct, we are using the Lian-Li z70 case for this build. Congrats on the detective work! :D

I will post up some pictures of what we have done to the case to make this a very capable W/C case.

top front and bottom?

2x 360 in the front flowing across through the case and the 280 mounted in the top of the case.

How many £k is it going to set me back? :p
Can't be cheap getting a pre watercooled rig

We haven't set a final price on this yet, it all depends on how long it takes us to complete, however given the spec (to be finalised) which is going to be as high as we can get with current market hardware it isn't going to be cheap, but you wouldn't be receiving a cheap off the shelf product either as this will be quite heavily modified for a pre-built system.

We are looking at what can be done with the internals once we have finished modifying it. The issue with powder coating and anodizing is that it would have to be done by a third party and due to the time constraints that we have with our builds process it might not be possible to get a reliable service and finish. It will be something to look into for sure.

Yeah we would love to enter the dream PC contest, however The Last time it was run was 2009, they haven't had a competition since, much to our disappointment!

This system will be our flagship system and not cost any where near as much as the dream pc entries but be a close to equal on performance.

Just to give you a quick idea of how this system will perform, with our initial bench tests RJK managed to achieve close to 50K points in 3DMark Vantage.

Your points are valid ones some of the choices come down to stock availability as we need to be able to sell something that we have good stock options on, The Lian-Li is a very good case in my opinion, Lian-Li have taken some serious steps in improving their cases which will be shown here in time.

We could use the TJ07 or the 800D just as you have suggested but if you look on this forum or any other hardware enthusiast forum these cases have been water cooled time and again, we wanted to use something that looks sleek and is capable of carrying enough cooling hardware to be able to fit a real powerhouse inside it.

We have chosen the Lian-Li due to the improvements that they have made to the case. We saw its potential where others might not. Keep checking back for the updates on what we are doing we may just impress you with what this case is capable of!

Updates on how we are doing with this are immanent, :D

The full spec is to Follow, more details on this as we build the system up.

is it going to have bitspower fittings throughout?

We are using 7/16" compressions for sure, they may be EK but we may use the Bitspower part depending on availability.

also with bitfenix extensions?

Yes we plan to use Bitfenix extensions with this system.

Are those Black Ice GT Stealths in the front?
What 280mm rad is up top?
Where those Sharkoon Silent Eagle fans?

All very original and never been used before...

I was going for sarcastic this time :D

Yeah the rads in the front are GT Stealth's as is the 280 in the top and yes they are silent eagle fans.

It's more the case that we were focusing on using something that is new and hasn't been watercooled a 1000 times before. All the watercooling components that we will be using are proven components, we aren't trying to re-invent the wheel here just offer something that we haven't before! :)

Looking good so far, always interesting to see wc going into one of the more unusual case.

Out of interest though, any reason you chose those 360 rads and not thicker ones? looks like there is plenty of room for thicker ones to fit.

Yes glad you asked, as you rightly point out we could go for the larger capacity rads rather than the stealth's, however we are planning to mount the pump between the two rads at the bottom of the case.
