I am so impressed with the 670. I can't beat that GFX score and I have a good clocker. Lucky punk :p

Scores updated guys and thanks for posting. Also, great to see we have our first 7850.

Lucky indeed, I just flashed the BIOS to that one in another thread here and with a little help from a external house fan maybe, I reckon I could get through the benchmark at 1400mhz now lol

Did you buy a new CPU to run this benchmark? You already had an Ivy i5 according to your signature

I had a mate that was willing to pay top dollar for it if I installed and clocked it to 4.5ghz for him, so the upgrade basically cost me nothing.

Got myself a nice Vertex 4 256gb as well, cloning as we speak :)

out of interest anyone else got a 3770K @ more than 4.8ghz?

Wondering what kind of voltage you have to put through it for a stable 3DM11 run, I'm up round the 1.5v mark for 4.8, temps are a nightmare to keep in check.

I need 1.38v for it to pass 3D11 @4.9Ghz.

1.29v @4.7Ghz
1.33v @4.8Ghz
1.38v @4.9Ghz

Can't get it to pass with 5.0Ghz but i've only tried up to 1.42v. Don't wish to go any higher due to temps. Mines custom WC and they're insane with anymore than 1.4v.

As you live nearby let me borrow your chip for a run :) (joking)

Which part of Peterborough do you reside in?

Might do another run with my 2700K @ 5GHz as i know it can but im not sure about my HX 520 PSU being up to the job with the 7950 OC'd too. Current score is stock auto volts on the card (1105/1625). Anybody know if im gona be ok with the Corsair PSU i have? I got 3x 1TB Samsung F3's and a Samsung 830 in there with 5x 120mm fans and a soundcard and CD/DVD Drive.

Do i have enough juice to up my volts on the 7950?

I would imagine it's going to closeish to the limit but there's no real way to be sure unless you can read how many watts it's actually pulling from the wall and then compare that to the number of amps supplied on the 12V multiplied by 12.

Worst that's going to happen is it will crash, might as well give it a go.
You're getting close to the edge though, 5Ghz is probably pulling? 200w? (hard to say without voltages) The 7950 isn't pulling much more than stock, considering it's stock voltages.

On the 2700K tune your PLL so you dont need more volts to pass 3D mark. This often means a lower PLL than stock.

You can also slacken the memory slightly if necessary to get you through as memory is less important than raw mhz.
