Exactly. I think it's Barcelona compromising with Messi. I reckon he'll stay with Argentina then until Barcelona actually need him, then he'll be dragged back to Spain.

Just read an article on the BBC and they're saying that Barca are yet to make a decision.

I wouldn't mind us bringing Babel back tbh. Unlike Mascherano, he wasn't adamant on going to the Olympics so i can't see him being too bothered if we recalled him.

I didn't know you were talking about the CAS thing, thought you were wondering why they're bothered about him playing at all.

It does seem pointless though as they're now saying that they're letting him play because he wants to.

I couldn't see any on iPlayer. When you were commenting on the goals there was already a post up on the BBC Sport website with the result, so I don't think you were watching live. Let us not forget the 2002 World Cup had 7am kick-offs in Asia.
