Hi, Not really a newbie but getting old and making mistakes.
On Win 10 PC and after my data disc crashed I was trying to move my system Pictures folder from the dead drive to C:Users/[AccountName]/Pictures. Unfortunately I managed to move it to c:Users/ , so it has renamed C:Users/[AccountName] as C:Users/Pictures - still with all the AccountName data inside it.
Whats the safe way to undo this?
Cheers,
Simon

First thing would be back up any files
That were involved/in the folder
I did this once too doh!

Can't remember exactly
But I created a new/second user account with admin privileges
Logged into that
Renamed the folder to what it originally was
Copied all the files I backed up back into the folder
Rebooted
Checked everything was OK
Then deleted the old user account I think

Something along those lines
Also getting old and forgetting stuff lol
Other options restore from an image backup
If you made one
Or try system restore if its turned on

For completeness, I found a post
"Undo: Merged your Pictures folder with your User folder" in the Tenforums tutorial which worked fine and didn't require any user creation or deletion.
