Problem with the 7950, is it is currently priced to close to the 7970, you might a well get one of those.

The 7950 should be where the 7870 is and the 7870 should be around 7850 prices...

The only two 7000 series cards, priced logially is the 7850 and the 7970, everything in between is too close to each other.

if the average wage in this country is £800 per month then we have more serious issues than I thought... that's minimum wage territory

The average wage is not £800 a month as far as I know.

I thought the average wage was 24k in this coutry per year.

I want something to drive a 2560x1600 resolution at decent frame rates. So I was holding out for 670 at around the £300 mark abolsute max for me. Looks liek it will still be too rich for me

Anyoen care to mention a plan B please? 570 say ?

570 wont have enough vram at that res.

The image is distorted.

It looks short, but it has been skewed.

As far as I'm concerned this round has gone to Nvidia.

The 600 series is just plan better than the 7000 series from AMD.

Also the Nvidia drivers have some real features baked in to them.

AMD, take one step forward and two steps back with their drivers at the moment.
