I was in the car at the time and can vouch for this. I've never seen anything quite like it, it was absolutely incredible.
 
AFAIK it's not too difficult to achieve 300 odd bhp from those 2.0 turbo Vauxhall engines. They're about 200 standard and they're very similar to the Astra VXR engine. I guess the owner tuned it for the lolz :p

Yup. Z20LET engine. Comes in three power outputs. 170, 200 and 240 bhp. 200 in the Zafira A GSI, 240 in the Zafira B VXR. If there's one thing Vauxhall are good for, it's highly tunable petrol engines. PIG IRON STRONG!
 
A company up the road from me called Courtenay Sport tune Vauxhalls and they did a Zafira, pretty much the fastest people carrier about!

Sucks to get embarrassed by one :p

Yeah I'll be going down if the weather is ok, as it's not far. I think there's free parking in Bishop Gore School.

nice! I don't have to worry about parking, live just up the road :D

there's loads or rounds surrounding too for road side parking within 5 mins walk, and the parking on the sea front. Usually pretty cheap for all day. :)

Yeah I think I'll have a look for another free option if the school one fills up. I am a massive cheapskate with parking :D

Some awesome cars (as expected really) at Donington Historic all weekend, best turn out and selection was probably yesterday with Sat having some great stuff too. Much less today really, one of the 'want' cars there was DK Engineering's Silver Enzo. :cool:
