Projector Mount - Optoma

Evening All,

I'm looking for a mounting plate to enable me to use my projector with a floor stand that uses a 1/4 thread.

The projector is too heavy and these threads are too recessed to use a single mounting point or a M4 to 1/4 converter.

I've searched a bit but can't find anything suitable. Any ideas what I should be searching for?

A few years back, i had an optoma hd20 and I used a 0.5m length of threaded bar cut into 3 pieces and 3 wing nuts off ebay. I used a 12x12" wide £5 IKEA 'lack' shelf direct from them, drilled 3 large 1" wide nholes right through the shelf and mounted the p.j underneath it. By having such large holes drilled into the wood, it allowed plenty of adjustment for the p.j. oh and I used some washers of various sizes to stop the wing nuts from falling right through the shelf which would have course smash the p.j on the floor. The end result look really neat, much better than any metal bracket and all for about £8
