Pulled over by unmarked car

Foolishly I decided to speed on my way home after finishing work late about 1:30am. I noticed a car coming behind me fairly quick so decided to do the same and eventually the blues came on it was an unmarked car with officers in black uniform. Once pulled over the officer asked what I was doing to which I apologised and said I’ve just come off a shift and whatnot. they seemed to be in a fair rush them selves just saying to me “just slow down a little mate” twice. What are my chances that they’ve just given me a verbal warning and not sending me anything through the post?

Considering the primary purpose of this forum is pc’s and associated tech then it is unusual for someone to find the motors forum 1st. You generally come on here for the pc stuff then find the sub forums after.

There’s better forums to discuss speeding and what not anyway.
OK. There must be another reason why OCUK is a page 1 result for forum searches about cars and kitchens.

Maybe in the old days, I suspect it's moved on a lot since then. Half the people here probably don't even own a PC.

to be fair that isnt the case for me. I post on a fairly limited number of forums....... and i have found quite a lot of good info and (i believe at least) parted with some useful info of my own on a few topics, which are not computer related.
if i had an issue regarding cars, i would probably post on this car section of this forum before starting up a new account on some random forum......

For instance i know for a fact there are a number of ipace users here, and whilst as it happens i am a member of ipaceuk forum as well, jonnycoupe of this forum is the one who offered to give me some very detailed, very handy info about my specific car.
Also i cant be bothered setting up an account on a specialist solar panel forum (i suspect there is one however) but there is a great section in the home and garden with a lot of info about solar and home batteries.

i havent found the adult entertainment or gentlemen's club section here however so i guess i need to look elsewhere for that (or maybe my post count is not high enough yet for access to that) :D

Great 1st post on a computer oriented forum :p
If you Google for motoring related advice (especially if you use the keyword "forums") then you will generally get results from this forum on the first page of your search results, so I think a lot of new members find their way here via searching for similar topics.
It also explains the apparently random thread bumps of ancient threads by brand new members.

is most probably a regular here who wanted to protect their identity from revealing they've been an idiot.
