Recommend me a TV

Hi all,

My TV in the lounge recently died on me.
So its time for a replacement.

Ideally a 55" TV.
I do connect my PC to it via HDMI some times, so i would prefer a higher refresh rate.
I also struggle with sunlight in the summer, so something that copes with a brighter room but still vibrant would be ideal.

Budget: £800 +-

I am having a hard time finding something that ticks the boxes.

Can give you a discount code to get an LG 55" G2 OLED for £783.

Decent TV for the price.

Otherwise a Samsung S90C for £999.

Samsung S90C with Soundbar + cashback but you're gonna have to pay £1000 and wait 7 weeks for the cashback. Did this myself at 1am. Main reason I bought it is the ability to go in the service menu and make it brighter (voiding the warranty potentially) but you basically turn it into a S95C and have full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth so it becomes a beast of a TV for it's price. But not everyone is willing to take such risks.

So G2 is a great choice as well as it fits into your budget, honestly can't go wrong with either of those options recommended by Simmz.
