So this has come on steam, with cross platform play with PS4. I've been given a code by a ps4 playing friend and it is great fun!

Currently no way to invite ps4 players to your game, but that is in the works for the next update. They have stated that a party/lobby system wouldn't work, but they are working on making it possible to invite to game directly.

I think its one of them that looks fairly average until you actually start playing it. Had some great matches online tonight. A fun little game that fill an hour or six.

That is exactly it. It is such a simple idea to the point where it doesn't look anything special. When you get playing it though its a completely different story. Logged on last night and spent a good near 4 hours doing some 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 with some friends.

Anyone not sure about the game, give it a whirl, steam refund it if you arent happy. But I honestly don't think you will. If this game became a big esport, i'd watch it.

I know the first day or so they werent expecting it to be so popular. Servers were struggling to handle all the traffic. Has been much better the last few days.

I must be lucky, Not had an issue with matchmaking yet. My friend and I did get added to a 3v3 that was about 30 seconea into the game. In place of bots id imagine. But it has always been working when ive gone to have a few games.

Is this just the next generation of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars? I can see it's the same developer, please say it's as good!

As far as I know it is just the next generation. Only with a much easier to remember name.
Considering how popular this has become on twitch, I wouldn't be surprised if it became a big esport.

No matter how much i play this. I keep miss timing jumps, causing amazing, funny and catastrophic results.

No matter what I do, I cannot play defensively. It just doesn't work for me. Think I'll avoid the area around my own goal.

I know I sometimes go late for aerials because I'm too busy debating if I should or not. Can end up being costly mistakes.

3v3 is definately the way to go. 4v4 is just utter chaos. The ranking system is quite good. It definately shows when you go up a bracket.

Wouldn't touch ranked by myself though. Only play it when I have people I know with me.

Ranked is fine solo IMO. Got into the top 100 on doubles and solo standard by myself.

It's more me than the game, I do the same in CS GO etc.
Still really enjoying it, the progression from front flip only matches to borderline dog fights over the ball have been crazy.
