Out of interest, for those generating 40kw or more, have you got loads of panels or have panels got so much better than ours (installed 2018). Come middle of June and a sunny day you'll be generating 80 - 100 kwh!

Basically down to loads of panels, most I generated in a day is 57, but my panels are not at optimal angle/direction.
Panels have got better, but have also got physically bigger, not sure that actual output per square meter has increased much, it would be interesting to know.

If I remember correctly, our panels have a max output of 380 (or is it 385) watts. I can't remember what area each panel is though.
At some point I'll have a look to see what modern panels produce.

23x435w (10kwp). However they are split east - west so far from ideal and perform more like a 7kw south facing system.
More generation early in the morning and late in the evening but the mid day peak is lower, a lot lower.

I've 16 x 250, south facing. Installed in 2012. In 2023 I added 15 x 370. 7 east, 7 west and 1 south. In Jan and feb the original system was out performing the new. Now the new wins. I hope to hit 60 units on a big day. That should be a 25old/35new split.
