I got my mum an HP laptop a few years ago which is starting to struggle now, so planning to replace it. She doesn't do much on it other than MS Office, general browsing and youtube etc. Are there any particular laptops people would recommend? Looking for 15.6inch screen at least since that's what she has now, but a little bit bigger and/or touchscreen might be nice (but not required).
No particular budget as such, but given the basic use, doesn't make sense to go over the top. The HP one has given a few issues over the years, so thinking of moving away from that. Was thinking Dell maybe as the other alternative, but not sure and happy to consider others. She doesn't live in the UK though so don't want something that is more likely to require my support if things go wrong since not as easy to do that remotely.
