Then ytel upgraded the download and upload speeds to around 38Mbps with no price increase...

On 01/01/17 ytel now known as Homenet increased the monthly subscription fee to £ 26.24 from £ 15.74 with no changes to service speeds.

Finally moved onto Sure Fibre for £ 39.90 a month for 236Mbps down 46Mbps up with a landline...

I believe the Sure speed is due to go back down to normal speeds in September.

Well during this coronavirus pandemic my ISP has raised my connection speeds again due to more people working from home so now I am getting this over Ethernet...

Officially least sunny location -Ronskistats
Man, I now live very rural which has its benefits. The twisted copper pair landline though only manages 5 down 0.7 up lol and your getting the speeds that even the nearest town could only dream of near me!

I have a 4g alternative which I am testing so not the end of the world but best case is around 30 down and 20 up on that connection. Im hoping the grants and government promises on boosting rural broadband gets traction because cellular unlimited data seems to be the only method that's viable to me.
